The Emerald Coast’s popular Shrimp & Grits Festival is heating up for its seventh year with a new location and a national music headliner. The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Cultural Arts Village in Destin.
Guests will enjoy unlimited samples of creative shrimp and grits dishes prepared by local restaurants, along with craft beverages and live entertainment, as chefs compete for the title of Best Shrimp & Grits on the Emerald Coast. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, supporting youth programs across Northwest Florida, including Destin, Fort Walton Beach, DeFuniak Springs, Crestview, South Walton and Pensacola.
“This festival continues to grow in both impact and excitement,” said Shervin Rassa, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast. “Our move to the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village and the addition of Erin Kinsey mark an exciting new chapter, while every ticket purchased helps support the futures of thousands of local Club kids.”
Adding to the excitement is a featured performance by rising country artist Erin Kinsey, known for her powerful vocals and relatable storytelling. Kinsey’s charting songs and high-energy performances have earned national recognition, including appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
General admission tickets are $100 and include unlimited food samples and drink tickets for craft beer and cocktails. VIP tickets are $175 and include early entry, access to a VIP lounge with a private bar, exclusive tastings and preferred concert seating. The event is rain or shine, with tickets available while supplies last.
